Looks like I am going to be tired after the weekend. Very tired. We (me and my bro) just signed up for this race. Let’s hope we will finish – as I am really out of shape…

I rode this trail for the first time last Saturday. I’ve read about it, I’ve heard about it, so I decided to give it a try. Climb wasn’t bad at all, quite steep in some places but nothing extreme. It has most erosion control features (water bars, blocks, nets) out of any trails I know around Tahoe… so switchbacks were smooth and easy. The rest was more even more interesting. I just love singletracks. There is nothing really difficult on the trail – I was counting on more after reading some reviews - but it also makes this ride real pleasure and fun. :-)
